Richard Morrison's interview
In Richard Morrison's interview he talks about his beliefs on a successful production. He gives advice on what he thinks are the important stages in making a film which could help us when creating our film.
One thing he said that mattered the most was 'simple is good' he believes overcomplicating things is not the best way on planning. Richard believes once you have gone past the storyboard making, a good thing to do is to make a little model. This model tells you so much as it is a physical object which makes you more close to having information on the film.
He advices that the ideas come naturally to you, you shouldn't keep thinking of ideas you should let them eventually come clear in your conscious as natural ideas are the best as you don't over think things.
Also in the interview Richard Morrison says a drawn storyboard is recommended as you can edit, remove and add to them quickly and easily and he says it is wrong to 'jump straight in'.
One last thing he said was how great technology is used in the production because it 'almost creates the impossible' and he also said 'I think the technology is fantastic, as long as you use it in the right way. It wont give you an idea but makes things quicker.'
